Home page www.rhjgoldmfg.com to the far right on my homepage I have online catalog links but the folders are no longer in my admin categories/product, some how I deleted them? And I can't put any product in.

 

I'm told the fix is as follows: mouse-over the catalog link on the far right of on home page get ID, which is (http://www.rhjgoldmfg.com/wedding-c-1.html) then create a new catalog in your admin categories/product which I did, now located top right on my home page online catalog Wedding the new id is (http://www.rhjgoldmfg.com/wedding-c-115.html?osCsid=39d67ebc66b3f4d34c519a7a18c13aba)

 

Then in the database edit the tables of your database. The tables to edit are categories and categories_description. Change c-115 to c-1 will this work or well it make things worse?

I created a test category in my shop. Moved 2 products to this new category and then deleted the "test" category.

 

Now

- Both Products and Categories have been wiped out from database.

- Since I am using a sandbox, I followed your suggestion to modify categories and categories description.

- The category is back - but the products are not back.

 

 

No harm would be done if you continue to add products to your newly created category with index no. 115. Once all are in place, simply take off C-1 from your store instead of trying to recover.

 

Not sure how you did it, I am not able to replicate - what you have got at your store :(
