Help required with layout of homepage

Hi,

 

New to OSCommerce can anybody help with a few little issue i have with the layout of my homepage.

1:) How can I remove the white box above the shopping cart box on left side.

2:) Stretch the green line at bottom of page accross the full width of page

 

 

Any help or pointers in the right direction appreciated
