debf
Hi Everyone. Hoping someone can help me with this. On my catalog pages - in the table just above the table listing all the products in that category and under "Displaying 1 to 6 (of 6 products) Result Pages: 1" I would like to add some text as an introduction to that category. For example for one page listing all my riding whips I would like to add at the top "Our plaited and wrapped leather whips are made using a lightweight but strong fibreglass shaft so are not only beautiful but fully functional." The text would be different for each category. Is there an easy way to do this? What files do I need to change etc etc or do I need seperate style sheets for each category and if so, how do I do that? Thanks as this has me stuck and I can't find anything on the forums. I have downloaded WYSIWYG for adding custom html to the product descriptions which is working well but perhaps there is something similar for my other problem? Sooner or later you will find that you want to install a meta tags contribution since your site won't do well without one. If you decide then to install Header Tags SEO and you have Categories Descriptions installed, the latter will have to be removed, which can be difficult. So you need to think about that before deciding which to install. When opening "www.mysite.com/headertags_seo_install.php" I am getting this message .... 1060 - Duplicate column name 'categories_htc_desc_tag' ALTER TABLE categories_description ADD categories_htc_desc_tag LONGTEXT NULL; [TEP STOP] What do I need to change in the php file please to get it to install? I am using 2.2RC2a from TemplateMonster. Thanks !
Jack_mcs
It mans it is already installed in your shop, or at least some version of it. You can run the uninstall script but if you don't know what version you have installed, it will make the installation a little more difficult. Please ask contribution related questions in the support thread for that contribution. It makes supporting them easier and allows others with the same problem to easily find a solution.
