A phone call later the customer said that he had not received email confirmation. We looked into his details and found that he had entered an incorrect email address (put the @ in the wrong place) We edited his details through Admin/Customers Going to orders to re notify him the order email address was still at the old value ? When a customer places an order, their details are stored in one of the order tables, caopied from the customer tables. So updating the customer info, will not update the order info!!
