osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Is there a way to find out what contributions a site is using?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have just been asked to make some updates on an existing osCommerce site that has been heavily modified with Contributions. Before I make any changes, I would like to know what all of the contributions are so I don't create any problems. Can anyone tell me how I would go about determining what has been added? I have done some preliminary file checking and have identified some, but I know there is more there.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You could download every contribution and compare the code line by line.

In reality you can't.

What you can do is look at the files you're planning to change, and compare them to a pristine download of that version of osCommerce. At least that way you'll know whether your change is going on top of another change.
