philip.orourke
Is it possible to set product up product attributes so that the price shown in the cart and checkout is the single combined price rather than showing the original price plus the attribute price. I have a vitamin store and I think my customers mind find the current system confusing. I would like to be to show diferent prices for different product sizes i.e. the attributes would show the actually price of different sizes rather the price increase. If that makes sense. Ajeh
The current method shows the details on the cart so the customer can see where to cut costs and shows the total price on the checkout. Older versions had the break down also in the checkout as well as the cart.
philip.orourke
Yes, exactly. But is it possible to set this up so that the price displayed in the attribute drop down is the actual price of the product. e.g. I have a bottle of Vit C selling at 8.99 for 100 tablets, the bottle with 300 tablets is 23.99. So i would want the size attribute option to show 23.99 and the price in the cart to show 23.99 rather than 8.99 + 15.99.
Ajeh
I have written for this feature before. The display price is the lowest price of each of the the attribute options. I do not have this in a simple format for a contribution, but it can be done. This lets you price the product at $0 but the display price would be the cheapest you can configure using the options.
