category listing

i need some help

can i show categories like that

 

 

for example

i have 3 GEneral categories every of them has its own sub categories

when i click on one of my Category

i see sub categories listed down to itm but i want to show only sub categories and any other categories should be dissapeared

 

so when i click for example one of this general categories this three categories dissapear and there is shown only sub categories of the category i clicked :)
