stakemaster Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 I have installed osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC2 which I downloaded from the osCommerce website. I populated the database and uploaded my images and the site runs fine, however, I wanted to change the look and feel of the site so I purchased an osCommerce template from http://www.flash-website-templates.net/. The template is a full store ready to upload install, however... The new template is based on osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC1 and has a folder called 'site' instead of 'catalog' and the documentation included with the template refers to the folder called 'catalog' not 'site'. Has anyone ever installed one of these templates? Is the folder called 'site' to allow an existing installation to be upgraded? Can I apply the look and feel of the new template to my RC2 installation just by copying certain files? I'm hoping I don't have to start again and go through the RC1 to RC2 upgrade process detailed in the upgrade notes of RC2. Any help is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
