Thanks, TR http://httpd.apache.org possibly http://www.modssl.org / http://www.openssl.org http://www.php.net http://www.mysql.com http://www.phpmyadmin.org There are also server kits (see Hotscripts.com) that install the lot for you but I would not settle for that if you are building a production server. Guest Posted February 10, 2003 Share Posted February 10, 2003 I am using Mandrake 8.2 and had a heck of a time with installing on my computer.. first.. chances are you already have apache and mysql php and phpmyadmin on your computer when you installed the program.. if not, do you have a package manager on redhat.. I sure you do because mandrake is a hybird of redhat. I would install all the programs.. you need from your package manager first-- when you get use to working with them then download from there site..
