wemseo Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 I am new her so please be patient, it's my first time I work with oscommerce. OK - there is actually a long line of tickets. First of all, I try to add on many other features such as "SEO Header / Light Box / Easy Populate, just to mention a few. What does this have to do with this ticket ? MUCH, please read on. SCENARIO - ONE I installed OSC on Server A for domain A, worked it (gave it a face lift and added a couple more categories/products then I moved all files and folders to domain B, also on server A. On domain B however I installed OSC, too before I moved the worked files and folders from domain A, hence, it's a different database I changed /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php accordingly, including the last 6 lines which include the other db connection data I also ALWAYS clear my cache (it's just one of these paranoiac habits I have) Logically, the new products and categories I added while on domain A, now didn't show. So I added them manually (only a few) However, (I had SEO Header already installed before moving (let me not repeat this, OK ... everything I mention that is a NEW ADDON in my OSC will be added on domain A before moving the lot to domain B) during the manual creation of a the missing category and/or product, when updating/saving I get this funny little WARNING ERROR ... Click on the product I get this error now ... Not Found The requested URL /shop/product_info.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at pinchmepurses.com Port 80 BASICALLY WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE IS WORK WITH ONE OSC ON ONE DOMAIN ((( DEVELOPER DOMAIN))) AND THEN MOVE THE LOT TO ANY OTHER DOMAIN ... SAME SERVER OR DIFFERENT SERVER Also, it appears the SEO header Add-On is interfering somehow, not clearing the cache or else? Why would it give a warning when products are updated ( I have multiple images to one product and those images may change! ) Not even a NEW PRODUCT can be added to a category without getting the warning! I know, it's a lot, but wait, there is more ... later ...;-) I am new to OSC and not an absolute PHP WIZ, so KINDLY - have mercy OK!
