parmenio
I need to send a copy of my database (osC 2.2 rc2a with heavy modifications) to my printer for development purposes. I'm not worried about giving him access to customer addresses since he will need that information anyway (he also handles shipping). I'm perusing the database for anything that might be improper to send, and so far I can only come up with the customer_password field. Are there any other fields from that default install that I should be careful not to send or any general advice on doing this that I should be aware before I send him a copy? I appreciate any and all help. ----- Parmenio
FIMBLE
You should be aware of customer confidentiality and privacy, you need to ensure that no customer records are sent, addresses, phone numbers, orders etc.. You could use Jan Zongees database back up add on which allows you to choose which tables to back up by selecting or deselecting info.
