Installation freezes on import database structure (step 1)

Hello,

 

I'm new to this and I have a question concerning the setup procedure.

 

After I enter the correct DB name, server, user in step 1 I press the ontinue button and the database structure is being imported.

 

This process however takes forever. Nothing seems to happen. I just see a turning icon.

 

When I press continue again. It sas very quick it is testing the connection and then the import begins again and again seems to hang.

 

Does anyone have a tip to get past this and get to step 2?

 

I have the 2.2rc2a version.
