debf Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Hi. I reuploaded a template and I could view it (with warning messages at top) until I changed file permissions. Firstly all I was seeing was:- ------------- Fatal error: Call to a member function add_current_page() on a non-object in /mounted-storage/home61c/sub002/sc38042-KFBW/browbands.net.au/myshop/includes/application_top.php on line 320 -------------------- What I did - 1. Deleted install folder 2. /includes/configure.php - changed to 444 3. /images - changed to 777 4. /admin/includes/configure.php - changed to 644 5. created admin/backups and set permissions to 777 6. /admin/images/graphs - changed to 777 All of a sudden (without me doing anything) I was able to access home page but then the next time I typed in the address of my store I was getting this message ..... Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (13) in /mounted-storage/home61c/sub002/sc38042-KFBW/browbands.net.au/myshop/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! Can anyone tell me how to fix this - I assume it has something to do with permissions or could it be something else. I contacted template help but am a little frustrated as it has now been 2 days without a reply from them.
