Guest
Hi, When I visit my site it doesn't say "Welcome back Jeremy" it just says "Welcome Guest!" unless I login. (I do of course have an account for my own site) Im assuming this is a cookie problem... what things can I look at to fix this? Thanks.
Mark Evans
Im assuming this is a cookie problem... what things can I look at to fix this? This is intentional on our part :) I removed that functionality as it was causing quite a few customers to get confused as to why the site rememebered them but they could not view the cart etc. If you look here http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs...talog/login.php You should be able to see the change I made Mark Evans osCommerce Monkey & Lead Guitarist for "Sparky + the Monkeys" (Album on sale in all good record shops) --------------------------------------- Software is like sex: It's better when it's free. Guest
ah ok.. well the thing is im not worried about that functionality not being there.. the thing im worried about is that im using a snapshot prior to that change you made and on my test server it works as its supposed to showing "Welcome customer name" before they are logged in. So im a little worried that cookies arn't working on my store at all.. what can I do?
