Guest
Hi I have just installed OSCOM but I get an error saying the file configure.php can be written to. I have CHMOD the file to the lowest my host will allow me .... 644 but still get the error message. My host won't allow me to CHMOD files below 6 for the start figure .... don't get me started! Is there any fix for this or am I destined to change hosting companies! Thanks in advance!

There's a configure.php in catalog/includes and one in the admin too.

If anyone else gets the same problem ..... simply edit includes/application_top.php Line 506 - define('WARN_CONFIG_WRITEABLE', 'true'); comment this line out and bye bye error! Obviously not recommended as it is there as a safety feature but this is a short way round it
