I cant see many limitations to this software. Yes it ships with everything Plain Text and looking a bit basic but the ability is there to create something quite special, providing the resources are there to achieve it.

Is this an attractive package to Larger Retailers i.e. 5, 10, 20million page per year?

Or by it's very nature, are big site developers worried about hundreds of files being made by many people with varying interpretations of how to do something?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this

Unlikely.

Would need to improve security as per SPOOKS series of contributions and some of the sql needs serious optimisation for large sites.

So, Geoffreywalton, it would be easier to start from the beginning again.

Security is a big one. Anybody who processes transactions on their site must be able to secure it properly.

Off topic-ish I'm eyeing 4-5mill unique visitors per year by end of next year. Is OSComm in it's vanilla format up to the task?
