I had difficulties with the same problem after installing the Products Extra Field contribution, and thought the difficulty might possibly be related to that. I uninstalled the entire oscommerce installation, and tried now with a fresh installation. All I've done is upload v2.2 RC2a of osCommerce, install it, and then without doing anything more, I double-checked to be sure that a person opening up a new account wouldn't see the pre-filled fields for fax number and password (the problem I had before). But lo and behold, the problem is STILL there. Fax number: admin Password: ●●●●●●●●●●●● All the other fields are blank. If anyone has any suggestions at all to offer, please tell me - I don't know where to go from here. This is a completely new installation, so why is this problem occurring?
