Hoping you can help! I am new the OS Commerce and recently had a web site set-up www.bagsforgifts.com. My Problem is this. I have two main categories Bags for Gifts and Bags for Food. Under each of these main categories are a number of sub categories. Each main and sub has a description written for along with keywords as completed on each of these category pages. However, if you visit my site and check out the view source for any of these category pages you will see that each is using the same category description and keywords.

Under the SEO Header Tags, there is a default chosen and this is where the same description and keywords are coming from. Can you tell us how to fix this? I have hired a firm to do this but they did not fix it! The person who handles the mainenance for my site does not know how to fix it.

I have over 400 items in the store, but Google is picking up only 60 or so, I am guessing this problem with the wrong category descripton and keywords is haviing some sort of an affect.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

If your site uses the Header Tags SEO contribution, then you can download the package and study the documentation that comes with it. It won't take you long. If you have duplicate meta tag information, that may prevent some of your pages from indexing.
