raedts
Hello everyone, I have a question. I would like to add some products to my show with a delay. With this i mean i would like to add them to the catalogue now, but they should be hidden till a specific date. I tried using the "Available on" function, however with this the products immediatly show and even got sold. Am i doing something wrong here? Or is there a contribution i could use? Thanks in advance, Raedts.
Guest
You have not done anything wrong at all as soon as you say you have a new item coming and time delay it, Its a simple way to take orders on a item befor you get it, This will allow you to order what is needed so you are not holding dead stock. raedts
Well the problem is, i want to "hide" these products till that date, so that when i'm away for a few days new products will appear every day. Is that possible?

MrPhil
Does the "Eazy Populate" contribution operate in batch mode (totally unattended)? If so, could you fire it off as a "cron job" (Linux server) or schedule a task (Windows)? If not, maybe it could be modified to add products totally in command line (batch) mode, so you could fire it off at a scheduled time. At worst, you'd have to write a PHP utility that goes directly into the store's database and adds rows to various tables... risky if you don't understand the innards of osC and know exactly what you're doing, but certainly possible.
