Confirmation emails

I have read several posted topics about not getting confirmation emails any longer. I never did see a solution and was wondering if someone ever came up with a fix. Is it

that the customer doesn't return to the store from Paypal? I get the email from Paypal, and the customers order is in the admin. I'm using v2.2. The store is operating fine other than this minor problem.

Thanks in advance,

try to install new version of PayPal IPN module

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

I just checked the stock level and noticed the level didn't change if the customer didn't return to the store from Paypal. I'll contact Paypal and see if the customer can be automatically redirected back to the store for completion.

I just checked PayPal's website and you can turn on the automatic redirect back to the store, but I don't know the url to enter. If anyone can be of assistance, I would appreciate it

greatly. I guess it would be the URL for checkout success. http://www.yourdomain.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Right now, the customer has the option of returning to the store. The merchant should be allowed to set this by default. Maybe PayPal can work on this one.

The URL is http://yourdomain.com/checkout_process.php

If you have your site in the catalog directory it will be http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/checkout_process.php

I just set it up and tested that it works.
