Hi all,

Ive made lots of changes to the site i currently run, and have somewhere along the line made a spazup, resulting in some weird category display settings.

I cannot for the life of me remember what i may have changed, nor which file it would have been in, to get the site to display wrong, but it must be a reasonably simple fix i hope!! :-)

It only affects category and pages following that, and hasnt affected the main page but heres how site should look :

Normal layout on index page

And heres an example of page that is messed up:

Messed up cateogory view page

Please guide me in the right direction of which files affect the layout of these pages, then i can post some code up to try and find the culprit!

Many thanks in advance

Rick

Hi, from a quick glance it appears that the problem is being caused by a malformed table, ie your <tr> and <td> tags aren't matching up - perhaps at the bottom of the relevant index.php section. Are you using a templating system?

Hi buddy,

Naa the layout is the basic OSC one. I believe it happened in retrospect from trying to get the banner into the top section, but i didnt know if the inde page affects the layout of all the subsequent category etc pages?

Hi, yes index.php controls the home page, all of the category pages and the manufacturers pages.

OK cool cheers,

So if i post up the index.php code, someone will be able to find the source of the problem???

I have a feeling its to do with the banner at the top of the page, but am a little cautious to make changes now unless i know.
