petevannuys
In Admin panel, all Categories of product are visible, but the Index.php (or top) page is not. Background: I inherited this site. The developer didn't include any meta tags, and there was no traditional "home" page, just a default to "/shop," which took visitors to our catalog. I could never find the text-- now very outdated-- that explained who we were, what we sold, etc. I've added 3 static pages, one of which is now our "home" index page. But I still need to be able to edit that original index.php content. Where is it? How do I find it? Can I edit it in Admin, or do I upload to a data file? thanks, Nubie

The 3 static pages I created are outside the Catalog. I link to the Catalog and the Cart from those pages. 2.) Reading the thread regarding SID... is this a problem? I'm assuming visitors will find our static "home" and "about us" pages, click through to the Catalog to begin shopping, and all will be well. Wrong? 3.) thanks for the path to the index.php Main text. At least I can update the messages there. Please confirm: is there no way to edit index.php from the Admin panel? 4.) But where do I insert meta tags for the generated page? And where can I put the code for Google Analytics, as there is no <body></body>?
