Guest
Small problem... In Banner Manager, and Database Backup, I am getting a pink warning line at the top of the page informing me that the directory "graphs" and "Backups" respectively, are not writeable. How do I make these directories writeable? :?
toolcrazy
Linux chmod 777 most ftp programs will do this too. Windows Right click on the file and select properties and make sure that it isn't read only. Steve -------------------------
Guest
Thanks...but I have never really been sure how this chmod thing works. I have an ftp program. Can you gimme a lil more detail about how I enable this folder for writing? Can I do it from my web hosts cpanel?

Guest
Thanks for the help. The page you sent me to, only served to make me aware that I could do command line instructions with my ftp program. As for getting the chmod thing to work, that was only by trial and error. But I got it...so thanks. :)
toolcrazy
Trial and error is the way we learn. If we don't try, we don't learn. So, Keep learning. Steve -------------------------
