keyword for product search

hi i want to search product by color.

so I entered color of product while uploading new product in hex code like #ff0000.

and this code is stored in products table under new field 'products_color'.

now I made a javascript code to search product by color on my site.

 

but I do not know how to do that .I redirected the link to advanced_search_result?keywords=#ff0000

but this query string is not working .

help me out !
