Isiah Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 Ok im setting up my oscommerce shop and i have two images 1 small and 1 large for every product the small thumbnail you would see before you click on it and then when you click on the product and your in product_info.php and then you click "click here to enlarge" i want to use the larger thumbnail. smallville06 Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 I have the same problem on my website www.stellaraccessories.com I've been told that oscommerce obviously works on variables and that it's not possible to load the larger image without first hovering the mouse over the smaller thumbnail in my productinfo page. You have a similar problem to me but my info page is set up slightly different. I have three smaller thumbnails and then one main image so when you hover over the three smaller images the main thumbnail image changes if that makes sense (have a look at the site and youll see what I mean. If you click on the main thumbnail image on my site without first hovering your mouse over one of the three smaller images then the popup window will only display the smaller image. I have used both of the following to good effect. On thre fly auto thumbs Additional images. There are others. With the 1st one you allow oscommerce to create the thumbnail image, soo you just upload a large image. When you then click on enlarge image it shows the large image. The second does the same, but also allows you to have more than one image on your product info pages. Both of them need GD library on your server, so check 1st. Hope this is of some help. Isiah Posted May 23, 2009 Author Share Posted May 23, 2009 Thanks for your help but to my understanding i just tried out the contributions and it seems they will only work if you manually upload products one at a time. I am mass uploading products and there are to many to do one by on so i have them in cvs. Anyone else have any ideas how to do what im talking about?
