I am not 100% sure of this, but could you not backup the database somewhere, install your new shop, then restore the database again.

I an sute that someone here will be able to tell you wether this is possible.

REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP

If < that's a very big if - but if your new theme has nothing extra in the way of databases etc. you can do it the following way.

1. create a new directory and upload your new theme

2. create another new directory into this remove all the frontend (everything except admin) from your original directory

3. move the new themes front end into your original directory

4. remove the configure.php file that you have just moved back to the new directory

5. move the original configure.php file (now in 2.) back to your original directory

This should give you your new theme while saving your old theme as a backup (putting in steps 4. & 5. stops you from overwriting your configure, php file)

<EDIT>Back up your database just in case and your site just in case again</EDIT>

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
