I have been using OsCommerce on Globat for the past 2 years with no major issues. Recently, customers have been complaining that they add items to their cart but when they try to check out it shows "Your cart is empty". Globat recently migrated all my websites to their new system. Has anyone had this issue before?

My website is: www.treoantenna.com

I use osCommerce 2.2-MS2

How is it the site can all of a sudden have incorrect links? It's weird. It's been a while since I have installed OsCommerce. I'm lost on this one.

I really need help on this one. Is anyone willing to try and fix the problem? I'm willing to pay for this service. I read the link in the first reply but I really have no idea how to fix this.

YES! This is big problem with the Globat.com server transistion. I am still working through my OScommerce webstore issue... it's been over a week now and they still can't get it right.

Basically, the problem stems from a bunch on config files in your /shop and /shop/admin and /shop/dmin/include directories. Where ever you see "crete.globat.com" (maybe not crete... but another server name) it should now be "yourusername".globat.com. This is hard coded in a bunch on config files on your server (in directories noted above). I started modifying them to get the store to work and then they hopped in and messed it up royally. I had to tell them to leave my darn files alone since it appeared their technicians (so-called) did not know what the heck they were doing. This had to affect a ton of globat users who were using them to host webstores....

Mine is finally working (sort-of) but still have concerns as my admin no longer points to the more secure https server method...

Good luck getting it fixed... you might actually better hosting elsehwere... really... I will be switching next year for sure!

Bug them constantly using problem tickets... one of my tickets go on for pages and pages... maybe I;mm post ot here once everything working so you can see teh crap I had to go through to get this working again...

Be persistent... bug them!
