Firstly many thanks for developing SEO URLs 5.

 

I have installed this and I have it working on my test site (CRE Loaded CE / PHP 5.2.12 (Zend: 2.2.0)), I have proved it is working by turning it on and off and viewing the urls. I have selected rewrite for the URL type and modified the .htaccess file.

Chances are that the configurations aren't set up properly that is why the oscid is appearing so many times. Generally at most it appears on the first click. On my sites they do not even appear most of the time.

I have been digging and reading up on this and I have came to the conclusion it was something to do with my config. I eventually narrowed it down to a cookie setting on my shop, I enabled it and hey presto all working sweet!

 

I did have to revert the code on the html_output.php page back to the original version as my buy now button was clicking through to an empty cart page - but all works very well now.

Yes I have seen this before, one user has 50,000 products and had the same issue, send me a personal email and I'll send back the modded files.

I've been experiencing a slight problem with a part of this contribution and hoped you might be able to lend some advice / support. The problem occurs with the manufacturers.php file located in includes/boxes/ and the drop down menu associated with listing the brand names. Because it operates as a form with post, when users click through the drop down and then attempt to navigate back their web browser informs them they need the form material to continue. No the biggest problem in the world, however, with the increasing popularity of Chrome we have made it a high priority to fix. In Google Chrome the user gets a completely blank page when they click the back button until they refresh. Maybe you have a suggestion to fix this? I tried it with the most recent modification and had the same issue. Your input is greatly appreciated!

i have a shop where i installed in the past CCGV and used to work fine

 

then in the past few months i installed ULTIMATE_Seo_Urls_5_r141_stable and KissMT_1.0_r72_RC plus SecurityPro 1.0.2 amnd other security packages.

 

i realised now that when in the CCGV some one tries to send a voucher to some one stopped working

 

basically i get the following message:

 

Error!

Unable to determine the page link!

 

i am not sure since which contribution this happened. in fact i am not sure at all if the above acotributions are the ones to create the problem but as far as i can remembar before installing them this feature was working fine.

 

the file in question is gv_send.php

 

i will appreciate if you could give me some advise on this

No it is not possible. This contribution requires -c- to denote a category and 30_43 to denote the category path.

 

Without these the script is reliant on a string as an identifier which is unreliable at best.

Hi,,

 

I have added Ultimate SEO URL without any big issue.

The only one I got at this time is that selection of manufacturer is not working : what ever through the specific box or through the manufacturer select tool at the top of category page.

 

When selecting a manufacturer it returns to the index page.

 

I did not find any topic on that issue although I did not read all the pages.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue ?

Your problem is nothing to do with USU5.

 

The code that redirects to cookie_usage.php is in application_top.php as follows: -

Therefore if no session is started you are 301 redirected to that file.

You don't need to remove any correctly working USU5 code, you need to correct the 301 redirect code which obviously isn't working. If USU5 receives a valid seo url it will not redirect it.

Not sure I understand where you see a problem.

 

The contribution is not attempting to hide PHP it provides a better uri than ?cPath=47 for human users and for bots.

 

There is absolutely no reason to change privacy.php to privacy.html and therefore USU5 doesn't change it.

 

Didn't understand the comment about duplicate content as there is none.
