wancy
Hi, I have started design my site at http://www.mydomain.com/admin and during design i will click on the 'Online Catalogue' to view my design output. However, i have notice my website domain http://www.mydomain.com is accessible where the website will show whatever the changes that i was done on it. How can i block my site being view by others when they enter www.mydomain.com as i havent publish my site yet? As i wish to display my site with the message 'This website is under construction' only. Please help.

RhinoFish
izit the mysql db that state at above is from my cpanel mysql db? Yep. And PHPMyADMIN is one tool you can use to manipulate your database and it is likely installed in your cPanel too. What is PHPMyAdmin? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhpMyAdmin There are addons you might use to populate your database with products too.
RhinoFish
"now upload the included file catalog/under_construction.php to your catalogs root directory (like if your files are in www.yourwebsite.com/catalog/)" I cant find the catalog folder in my admin. This is the path i will see when i click on File Manager : /home/myid/public_html/ Is this my roots directory? Yes, it is very likely that the "public_html" folder is your server's root directory. But that's not the same thing as your "catalogs root directory". When you installed OSC, you got to choose where you installed it, you may have installed it in your servers root, public_html. If you did, then in your servers root, there should be a folder called "catalog", which is the one they're referring to.
