westkoast
Basically an article droped in USA today about our site and products we are selling.... However, the SSL/authorize.net package from Wells Fargo will not be active for 5 days. Can anyone suggest a site, or company that will offer a shared SSL host as a temp. solution. We're getting great traffic....don't want to waste it. Have a 2checkout.com acct. setup, but I don't want to send CC#s over there insecure. I need to read the rules more often... Guest
Your hosting company should have a shared SSL account so you can use it . HTH

burt
If you are using 2CO, why do you need SSL ? This is what they do for you...
wizardsandwars
Burt, many people don't know that because the 2checkout payment module that comes with OSC takes the cc number and sends it to 2checkout instead of sending the customer to 2checkout to collect the cc number. Westkoast, this is easy to set up, and you can find a contribution for it. It will send your customer to your customized 2checkout checkout page, on 2checkout's SSL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help. I was using 2checkout.com's cart long before I ever found OSC. Their cart really sucks... You can't send product options to it, and the list goes on... That's why I switched to osc...however now I need to figure out the small gap between osc and 2checkout.com Thanks for all the quick replies! I need to read the rules more often... wizardsandwars
Yeah, that's what I was trying to tell you. Believe me, I wouldn't ever suggest that you use another cart. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.
