salvaging old DB components...

Hi Folks,

 

i'm not a server-side techie, but I'll get to the point.

i've got an old version of Osc's database (5 years old?),

and I would really like to be able to import certain data,

like user names, emails, sales records, etc, and use it in

my up-to-date version of OSC.

 

my old DB wouldn't import at all to the new phpAdmin,

so, I'm a bit fried that way.

 

is there any help anywhere on how I might just export

certain parts of an old DB that might be compatible

with the newer mySql /phpadmin?
