The image configuration is as follows

Small Image Width 100

Small Image Height 80

Heading Image Width 57

Heading Image Height 40

Subcategory Image Width 100

Subcategory Image Height 57

Calculate Image Size true

Image Required false

Enable Additional Images? enable

Additional Thumb Width 140

Additional Thumb Height 120

Medium Image Width 200

Medium Image Height 200

Large Image Width 400

Large Image Height 400

Hare what changes have I to do?

Is there any image ratio on or off?

Thanks,

To prevent distortion of images, in admin only set width, leave height empty (blank)

You have more options than I do so I'll guess you have an image contribution added.

The best solution is to try and make all your images the same size for the specific subject; ie: all small images the same size, all heading images the same size, etc...

If that is not possible the alternative approach would be to make them all the same height or width per subject (similar to above).

If you make them all, let's say, the same height, then set the height of the images in the admin panel and leave the width blank.

At least that's what I have seen mentioned here in the past. I stick with making all my subject images the same size. It keeps things looking uniform.

Hope that helps! ;)
