different languages on different domains

i have 2 same shops installed on 2 different domains which share the same database..is there a way to force one of them to see the german language while the other one stays in english? i do have installed both languages.

possible, you need to know the php language.

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Have you checked the contributions? Sure there is an IP based language contribution that will display the store in the language of residence so long as its installed

i did the ip trick in the application_top.php but i don't want ip based..i just want the whole domain in the other language

One way to force english language on a site

 

Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

 

If you code templates you can probably take that and figure out how to force the other site to German, if this is what you want.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
