alex121
Hi Can anybody advise me how I make a copy of OSCommerce on to my local drive so that I can test modules etc. Thanks Setup a home sever running apache, PHP etc FTP the OSC site to your folder that you can get to through a browser i.e. var/home/mysite/catalog/ then go to the OSC install folder and install OSC as you would / did for you website When it is finished copy all you files and folders from your site to your home server EXCEPT THIS VERY IMPORTANT DO NOT OVERWRITE INCLUDES/CONFIGURE.PHP and ADMIN/INCLUDES/CONFIGURE.PHP These are the two files that control the site! There is probably an easier way, but this is how i remember doing it myself Alex
