Wellington_Implement
We want to show current items that we do not have in stock but that customers can order if wanted. I have tried adding a new item and I clicked on out of stock and put a date as to when to expect but still doesn't work. Any suggestions Jevon Still learning all there is to learn. Wellington_Implement
Thanks for the response, I get a message when I click on the link that there is nothing to display. I put everything in like I did for the rest of the store the only things I changed were what I mentioned before. Jevon Still learning all there is to learn. tigergirl
Hi, in admin, click configuration, stock, allow checkout - set to true. this should let your customer buy any product that is not in stock as long as the product is active (the green icon in the product lists) I'm feeling lucky today......maybe someone will answer my post! I do try and answer a simple post when I can just to give something back. ------------------------------------------------ PM me? - I'm not for hire
Wellington_Implement
Hi,in admin, click configuration, stock, allow checkout - set to true. this should let your customer buy any product that is not in stock as long as the product is active (the green icon in the product lists) How would I set it to active? We don't have the items in stock but are available from our vendor? We want the customers to be able to order the items if we do not have them in stock. Does this make sense? tigergirl
Hi, in admin go to catalogue, categories/products, when you see the list of products, there is a "status" column with red (inactive) or green (active), make sure your products are active and visible to the customer. You could also in admin, click configuration, stock, check stock level - set to false I hope I am understanding what you mean. I'm feeling lucky today......maybe someone will answer my post! jhande
Do as Tigergirl suggested above. I have products listed that I do not have onhand but need to order from my distributor (next day delivery). List the products as any other products. One suggestion... If it will take awhile for you to receive those ordered products once someone purchases it from you. Add a note maybe in the product description that shipping for that product may take additional x amount of days. - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
