Display sub categories

Hi

 

I would like to avoid users seeing "There are no products to list in this category." when they select a category that has two sub categories but no direct products assigned to it.

 

Say, I have a category A which has two sub categories B and C which both have several products assigned to them.

 

Now if a user selects category A , it will display the message above.

 

I want it to either show the sub categories and / or also show all the products under each category in the same page.

 

Is this possible?
