gold682 Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Ok here is the problem I have, really hope someone can help. Firstly I was getting a 1054 error when selecting a category. Turns out that my web hosting company had just upgraded to MySQL v5 (from 4). Anyway found this contribution http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4654 and applied this to the index.php and advanced_search.php. However, although it cures the problem of the 1054 error, now when you select a category, it takes so long as to be almost unusable. My web hosting company has told me there is a lot of activity at their end - to the point they are close to suspending the site! Any help gratetfully received.
