Guest
Maybe someone can help, i'm sooooo tired right now. I purchased a ssl last night for my web site (www.birdiebus.com) the provider (also the provider of my osc) said they would take care of the set-up. it was still stuck on HTTP: this morning so i called tech. they said oh we can fix that!!! they did something and all I could get was the directiry of my web site. I could hit the index.php and the site would load with the https:, but, I could not log in, I could not create a new account, i could not add anything to the cart, and I could not modify any files on the site.(even if I set permissions to 777) three calls later the tech finally got the site back to the http:, and told me It's a osc problem, and there was nothing more he could do! here are copies of my two configs; would someone pleeese piont me in the right direction. I don't think the real techs will be back till monday  Note: I have tried both www. and no www. before the domain, no joy. certificate does not use www. <?php /* $Id: configure.php,v 1.14 2003/07/09 01:15:48 hpdl Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.birdiebus.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.birdiebus.com'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.birdiebus.com'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.birdiebus.com'); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES .
