Updating multiple items out of stock

Does any one know a quick way to update and set all items with 0 quantity to out of stock.

 

A script or something to do it in one fell swoop, as it's not possible in admin or in easy populate.

 

It's a nighmare keeping hundreds of items up to date

The search feature is so restricted by the 3 character limit, that out of stock, and many other relevant searches, are not possible for example 0 quantity, set to, out of stock how to etc etc etc it's carp

You could do it in your phpmyadmin if you want it done fast, or this might help
