Hello everyone,

I'm new at OsCommerce experience.

I have a website with Blue Voda, and OsCommerce is available to install with my hosting account, on version (2.2 Release Candidate 2a + buySAFE)

I have instaled it in http://my.website.com.

Im desperate looking for a Portuguese European language pack that works with this version.

I have istalled one, but it was 2.2 MS2 and I dont know if its compatible with the version I'm using, as I dont understand a word of this.

When I have installed this language pack only in "shop" area, it was working fine, but then I shut my pc down, and later on I have tryed to access my admin area to continue my work, and I was not abble to access it, as the following message appear

Warning: require(includes/languages/portugues.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /path_to_admin_directory/includes/application_top.php on line 157

Warning: require(includes/languages/portugues.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /path_to_admin_directory/includes/application_top.php on line 157

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/portugues.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /path_to_admin_directory/includes/application_top.php on line 157

I have uninstalled and instaled OsCommerce again, but now the original way, in English.

I need it urgently in Portuguese.

Can someone indicate me one language pack tht works with my version (2.2 Release Candidate 2a + buySAFE) ?

Please help me.

I'm desperate.

Thank you very much.

Susana

All those errors related to includes/languages/portugues.php simply mean that a file called portugues.php doesn't exist at ..

admin/includes/languages/portugues.php

btw you should not give your full paths e.g. /home/xxxxxx/public_html/confidential/admin/ in a public place, it is private information that can be dangerous and should not be publicly available.

I would ask a moderator to edit the post.

Thank you for your answer, and thank you for your tip regarding private information. I'm very new at this, and I dont know how it works.

Question is, I have only instaled portuguese in the "shop" area, leaving admin in english.

Even like this, I should have a portuguese.php file in admin directory?

Btw, can you tell me wich language pack is the correct one for the version I use, and if there is one available here?

I dont know how to look if it is compatible...

Sorry to bother.

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi...

I have instaled language pack in catalogue area, and again, it was working fine.

I was just beginning to set up the catagories for products, and same error message appeard as in 1st post here.

I have checked, and portuguese.php is there, application_top.php too.

I need this badly...

Can someone please help me solve this question?

Thank you
