Guest Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Hi all, Just a question related to the SQL database. I have a database set up by my web host and I managed to update several things that reflect on the shop site. For example, I changed the manufacturer list to a completely new one (haven't updated the products). So eventhough I changed manufacturer 1, the products listed were still the original 2 Matrox products. I tried to add a completely new product and assign it to manufacturer_id 1, but when I refreshed the page, manufacturer 1 still only listed the 2 Matrox products. My new addition wasn't listed there. Any idea why it wouldn't update the site? Thanks.
germ Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 In the admin set 'Use Cache' to false and see if that makes a diff. No guarantees here, just a hunch. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Guest Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Thanks, but it was already set to false... Any other ideas?
♥geoffreywalton Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 As it looks like you only have default product I'd delete the lot from the db and start again.
