SSL Pertinent question

Hello all

Sorry for the weird question but i read a lot about SSL and stuff but couldnt find the answet to THAT one...

 

i am on a shared server with shared SSL certificate and it all works well so far but..

On my server i place my catalogue on the /public folder

For the SSL part they told me to put my files in the /secure folder

 

if i want everything to wrok as planed...do i have to put a duplicate of the whole site in both folder ?

or maybe some folder ?

 

or..or...

You only need to have the secure files in the second location but it becomes a job keeping them that way so it is best to just to duplicate everything. A better solution is to switch to a host that doesn't require that.
