1054 error

Hi all,

 

I recently installed an oscommerce template. It showed up fine after installation but one error. On the right hand side of the page (you could say right panel), there is an error that says: 1054 - Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause'

 

There's a string of errors underneath it (probably too long and boring to list here), but basically it's an SQL query error, eg. "select p.products_image, pd.products_name, p.products_id, p.manufacturers_id, p.products_price", etc etc.

 

How do I fix this (or get rid of the whole message altogether)?

Install template = problem

 

Install old template = bigger problem

 

Install template written for mysql 4 on server running mysql 5 = .......

 

Not your fault, template vendors just don't point it out in big enough letters, if at all.

 

Go back and ask for version that runs on your hosting configuration.
