ricardo sports Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 HI guys, Is their anyway of restoring a store if i only have a sql backup and just fresh download of oscommerce from the oscommerce downloads section? Any help would be appreciated as the store in question is heavily modified and the only backup i have is the sql backup you download from the backup section

The image directory holds the pictures of your products and other images. BryceJr Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 help please. is it possible? With just the database backup, the answer is No. The modifications you made are in the css and php files also. Ask your webhost if they kept a back up.

You need all 3 Hey, i'm having a similar drama.. but i have a complete backup of my old store, after i reloaded from 1.1 to 2.2 rca2.. now i have an updated software of OSC.. how would i go about reloading the customers, orders, etc.. - guessing the directory structure i need to know about.. where or what.. so i can sort that out.. - the product images i have - all the old php files too.. but can i use 1.1 files with 2.2..? cheers any help greatly appreciated. :blush:
