Abreviated manufacturer names

In my "browse by manufacturer" box, all the manufacturer's names are being shortened, when it obviously would be able to fit in my wide box. Why does it do this? Is there something shortening the actual drop down box? I have increased the width of all my side boxes, but it didn't help to expand the manufactuer names. You can see what I mean if you check out my site below. (I just changed the word "manufacturer" to "artist")
