[email protected] Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Hi , Can someone pls help me witth these :- 1 . In the oscommerce back-end I need to be able to access order details for all orders in one page without having to go through each order one by one when we are preparing to bill and ship for each customer. It takes too much time. 2 . I need to be able to see all orders at once. Also, once an order is submitted by a customer there is no way to change it later. We need to be able to modify orders. 3 . Last, we can only search for orders using an order ID. I need to be able to search for orders by name as well. Pls advise asap. Thanks for your help  vs_indr vs_indr
NodsDorf Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I can help you with one part 3 I think. You can do a search for customer name, or email. Then when it displays a list of the those matching the query there will be an "Orders" button in the right column, click that will bring up all the orders the customer has made. What kind of products do you sell? Modifying an order after it is placed usually requires authorization by the customer therefor the functionality doesn't exist that I know of. I can see why you would do something like this if all your customers were on a 15,30 day pay period.. in which case I'd probably not use oscommerce. Quickbooks would be easier I think. Hope that helps
