use OScommerce software ASAP,

I am trying to use Oscommerce. first to find that my domain space doesnt support php files.

then i purchased new domain space adn that now not going to work for another 2 days.

 

 

so now im stumped.

does anyone know where I can instantly start using it.

 

 

please please asap

i have to complete some work on a shopping cart tonight.

You should be able to install Apache, PHP and MySQL on your local computer. There is an all in one package that makes it pretty easy to install:

 

WAMP Server for Windows: http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php

 

And

 

MAMP Server for Mac: http://www.mamp.info/en/mamp/index.html

 

Then you could develop osC on your local computer and upload to your web server when it's ready

I installed the wampserver. I'm a newbie in terms of setting up SQL or PHP or Apache server so bear with me.

 

How do I upload my files to the web server? On my system tray, it says "WAMPSERVER - Server Online".

Hi

click on the wampserver tray icon and click on www directory and copy and paste your whole website in that directory.

after that click again on wampserver tray icon and select localhost will be able to see your website running there.
