Easiest and quickest....

 

1. Compress(ZIP) your website

2. Upload the Compressed(ZIP) file using FTP or your c-panel on your server to the root directory

3. Extract the files from the Compressed(ZIP) file

 

Saves alot of time versus just try to use FTP to upload your site umcompressed

Or do you need to dump the db on your remote site and import it to your new site using phpmyadmin.

 

Not very clear exactly what you are trying to achieve.

I want to import "upload" my remote site "public html" oscommerce files to my oscommerce site so i can place my merchandise to sell online. I am a newbie so please be gental with me with the technical terms. I am catching on but still a newbie. :blink:
