nobody@ address issues

Someone please help me. I'm about ready to pull my hair out with this one. I have OS Commerce installed on a Unix machine. I'm not sure which version of OS Commerce it is. In the email configuration, i have it set to send emails from a valid address on the domain that i'm using. For some reason, it still sends from the [email protected] address. This is a problem because i had to disable the [email protected] address due to spammers. My host threatened to shut down my server if i did not disable it. Since i disabled it, my OS Commerce will not send the emails. If i enable it, they send perfectly. I also have a Windows server running OS Commerce and i have no problems with it. It sends from the address that i have specified in the OS Commerce email config section. Can someone tell me how to get the OS Commerce on my Unix server to send from the address i'm specifying instead of the nobody@ address? I'm ready to lose my mind. Thanks to all!
