Demented
I have followed all the PHP instructions to load PHP but when I go to the docs for oscommerce they are all in php at least now it loads the file before IE wouldnt even do that. All I see in IE is php and no docs at all. I need to know how to see the php in IE6 using ME. any sugestions would be great. Demented Shane A. Demented
Yes I have apache running with the php module loaded in httpd.conf file. I also have mysql loaded and the initial tables setup with a database called mysql and test setup. So I do I just copy the index.php and all the chapter files for oscommerce to the htdocs directory and view them by going to my server http://localhost ?? is this the only way to view the docs?? I was hoping I could just launch IE and php would generate html for my IE. Please let me know if this is right.. Sorry I know this is a lame question. I got everything else setup ok I just need to know how to read the docs that come with OSCommerce since they are all in php format. I would like to get os commerce up and running so I can modify the code for my websight. again any help would be apreatiated. Demented Shane A. rseigel
Skip the docs that come with it and go to http://guide.oscdox.com instead.
